Founder and Managing Partner
About Todd (Tadeh) Gharib, CPA
Todd (Tadeh) Gharib is a seasoned CPA and the founder of Clear Peak Accounting, with experience spanning public accounting, high-growth startups, and consulting. He earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Southern California and is a licensed CPA in California. He began his career at a top 10 accounting firm advising Fortune 500 companies on complex tax matters, and later helped build the accounting and tax function from the ground up at a fast-growing fintech startup. Since then, he’s consulted for public companies, VC-backed startups, and venture capital firms – giving him a well-rounded perspective and the ability to support clients at every stage.
Clear Peak Accounting helps founders, tech employees, investors, and growing businesses stay tax-compliant and plan proactively. Todd works closely with individuals and businesses – including self-employed consultants, LLCs, S Corporations, and service-based businesses such as professional service firms – as well as clients in the real estate industry. He provides tax return preparation, outsourced accounting, and year-round tax planning, often focused on high-impact areas like entity structuring, R&D credits, equity compensation (ISOs, NSOs, RSUs, ESPPs), cost segregation and real-estate-related planning strategies, and exit events, among many other areas. Todd also works with creators and athletes, consulting on tax and business considerations tied to brand deals and Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) income.
In addition to tax compliance and planning, Todd has supported clients with SEC reporting, PCAOB audits, investor decks for fundraising, and internal control implementation. He’s known for streamlining close processes, implementing cloud-based accounting systems, and building custom workflows that improve operational efficiency. He’s also conducted deep-dive research into emerging areas like NFTs, providing both accounting and tax guidance as regulations evolve.
Todd’s approach is proactive and collaborative – focused on clear communication, attention to detail, and long-term partnerships that make the complex feel simple. Outside of work, he’s a passionate LA sports fan, adventurous foodie, and frequent traveler who loves exploring new cultures.
